Overview

FlavorWiki is a digital market research platform that helps consumer product brands run authentic product tests with real consumers in real-life contexts. As its reach expanded across Switzerland, the USA, and Canada, the original PHP prototype became a bottleneck for scalability, automation, and AI-enabled workflows. Codebricks Global rebuilt the platform on a modern microservices foundation and shipped AI systems for validation, response quality control, and RAG-based analytics—strengthening trust in respondent data and accelerating insight generation at scale.

01

The Challenge

The client aimed to enhance its product testing platform by integrating cutting-edge technologies such as React, Python, machine learning, and deep learning. At its inception, the platform was a basic PHP-based prototype that effectively served its intended function. However, as FlavorWiki's scope expanded, architectural limitations became more evident, necessitating a more sophisticated, scalable, and AI-enabled solution. The platform also needed stronger automation around product validation, response quality control, and data analysis so research teams could operate faster without compromising accuracy.

02

Research & Strategy

FlavorWiki had five mission-critical priorities: forging technology partnerships to expedite development, enhancing flexibility and scalability, elevating customer satisfaction, implementing automation, and formulating a forward-looking IT strategy. Codebricks Global collaborated with FlavorWiki to rebuild the platform as an agile microservices architecture and formed a dedicated team of solution architects, software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to deliver the transformation. We also incorporated direct feedback from FlavorWiki’s clients to refine the platform into a comprehensive enterprise solution.
