Overview

New York Adventure Club, a provider of unique in-person and virtual experiences in New York City, faced challenges with limited audience reach and inefficient event management. CodeBricks implemented a user-friendly platform with advanced search and filtering, mobile optimization, integrated marketing tools, and powerful backend event management capabilities. The Challenge

New York Adventure Club faced three compounding challenges that were limiting their growth. First, limited audience reach.the platform was effectively confined to a local New York audience, with no tools or infrastructure to attract national or international participants to their unique city experiences. Second, a lack of inclusivity and diversity in event discovery.the existing system had no way to surface events based on individual preferences or interests, making it difficult to cater to the diverse range of people who might want to engage with NYC's culture. Third, event management inefficiencies.the existing system could not keep pace with the growing volume of events and participants, creating operational bottlenecks in scheduling, ticketing, and participant communication that consumed staff time and limited the club's ability to scale.

Research & Strategy

CodeBricks started with a thorough audit of the club's existing platform, stakeholder workflows, and audience data to understand exactly where reach and operational friction were breaking down. We rebuilt the platform with a mobile-first philosophy.recognizing that an increasingly large share of event discovery and booking happens on smartphones. Advanced search and filtering were prioritized as core UX features, not secondary enhancements, to make diverse event discovery effortless. Backend tooling was redesigned to automate the administrative tasks that were consuming organizer time, and marketing integrations were layered in to give the club direct channels to reach audiences beyond New York.
